Why I made this series
Listening comes first.
In my new eight part series, survivors take me inside relationships that began with love and gradually became something very different. Together, we uncover the patterns of manipulation, coercion and control that can be difficult to recognise while you’re living through them.
Red Flag centres the people who lived through these experiences. We look at how isolation, emotional abuse and the erosion of self trust can develop over time, and give survivors room to tell their stories in their own words.
The aim is to make those patterns easier to recognise, without judging the people who experienced them.
