Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information I and my team collect through paulcbrunson.com, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Who is responsible

Paul C. Brunson is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or rights requests, email info@paulcbrunson.com.

What we collect

  • Notes from Paul: the contact details and preferences you enter into the ActiveCampaign signup form, plus subscription, delivery and engagement records.
  • Work and partnership enquiries: your interest category, name and email when you use the short website form. If you choose the separate detailed-proposal form, we also receive the project information, location, links and other details you submit through Google Forms.
  • Website operation: limited technical information such as IP address, device/browser data, timestamps, requested pages, referrer and security logs collected by our hosting and security providers.
  • Correspondence: information you send when you contact or reply to us.

Please do not send sensitive health information or confidential material through the website forms. The My Relational Health Score is a separate service with its own privacy information; this website does not receive your individual answers or score merely because you follow that link.

Why we use it

  • To send Notes from Paul and relevant updates when you have consented. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • To review, route and respond to enquiries, and to take steps you request before entering a potential working relationship.
  • To operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve the website and related communications where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
  • To meet legal, accounting, safeguarding or security obligations where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information. Joining Notes does not silently enrol you into marketing from My Relational Health, SOAR Productions or SlateRoom.

Who handles information for us

We use specialist providers to host and operate the site and its communications, including ActiveCampaign for email signup and delivery, Netlify for website hosting and short-form enquiry processing, and Google for the optional detailed-proposal form. We may also share an enquiry with the appropriate member of Paul’s team, representative or professional adviser when needed to respond. Providers may process information outside the UK; where required, we rely on the safeguards made available under applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep it

We retain subscription records while you are subscribed and keep a minimal suppression record after an unsubscribe so we can respect your choice. We retain enquiries and correspondence only as long as needed to assess or manage the request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the relevant provider’s operational schedule.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain uses. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. Contact info@paulcbrunson.com so we can help. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children and safety

This site and its forms are not directed to children under 16. The site provides general information, not therapy, diagnosis, crisis care or private matchmaking. If you need urgent support, use your local emergency service or a verified crisis-support directory such as Find A Helpline.

Changes

We may update this notice when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
