I’m BEYOND excited to announce that my dear friend and mentee, Francesa Hogi, has joined my matchmaking and coaching agency. Fran (as I call her) is our 5th overall team member but the first who will directly match clients. Words can’t express how proud I am to have her on the team and most importantly, I know our clients will be better for it. Fran’s story is stellar, here it is in her own words:
My Path To Matchmaker
I’ve taken a long and winding road to becoming a matchmaker. I’ve always been passionate about relationships, dating and playing Cupid whenever possible. You could say love has been a long-time hobby of mine.
I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Television, Radio and Film Production. I’ve worked in production as casting associate, a wardrobe stylist and a producer. I co-founded a film production company, but not before getting a law degree at the University of Michigan Law School and working as a corporate lawyer in New York City.
Ever interested in love, I started a relationship and dating blog, as well as contributing to other blogs on the topic. I continued to give advice and generally meddle in the love lives of all my friends and acquaintances.
Meanwhile, I appeared on the CBS television shows Survivor: Redemption Island and Survivor: Caramoan. If my stints in reality television taught me anything, it’s that fortune favors the bold and life is too short not to take advantage of new adventures.
After learning about matchmaking as a serious profession, earning my certification from the Matchmaking Institute and being guided by my awesome mentor Paul C. Brunson, I decided to follow my passion for connecting people and empowering singles and strike out as a matchmaker.
Pursuing this passion has been one of the best decisions of my life. Not only do I now have the privilege of working closely with clients to achieve their dream of finding love, but I do so with great gratitude, enthusiasm and determination.
